Porsche revealed the final specifications of the 2011 Cayenne during a private event in Germany last month. The Cayenne will be offered with plenty of engine options. Choose from an entry-level 3.6-liter V-6 with 300-horsepower, a naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V-8 with 400-horsepower or a range-topping twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V-8 with 500-horsepower. An 8-speed automatic transmission will come standard.

The new Porsche SUV will also be more fuel efficient, about 23% more efficient to be exact. That is thanks in part to a drop in weight. A 10% lighter Cayenne will allow for greater performance as well.

If you want the luxury of a sport utility vehicle and the performance of a Porsche the second-generation Cayenne is a perfect fit that wont empty your wallet at the gas pumps.

  1. 2011 Porsche cayenne is smaller in size. New edition will be powered by 3.0 liter V6 turbo diesel engine which would generate 240hp. The 2011 Porsche Cayenne will make its debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show.

  2. Nice car, I hope all SUVs eventually become hybrid cars
