BMW to Introduce New Roadster – Z4 sDrive35is

BMW Z4 sDrive35is

In 2011 there will be a new king atop the Z4 line. BMW’s convertible hardtop roadster will soon be offered with a 335-horsepower twin-turbo 6-cylinder engine with a 7-speed double-clutch transmission and an adjustable sport suspension that lowers the car 10 millimeteres (1/3 of an inch), borrowed from the performance M series. The new 2011 BMW Z4 sDrive35is will also feature a specially tuned exhaust, unique 18 or 19-inch wheels, matte aluminum trim, and special silver side mirrors.

While the Z4 still has less power than BMW’s M models, it still can do 0-60 mph in about 4.7 seconds. That’s still pretty darn fast. This roadster reaffirms BMW’s position among the best in the performance car world.

There will also be an sDrive30i and 35i, which has the same engine as the 35is but has less power and is without the new performance and body modifications.
