A Look at BMW’s New 5 Series
The new BMW 5 Series is a car you’ve just got to get inside of. It’s interior is built for ergonomics. The seats are better positioned than in previous models and there is also more rear leg room. The seats also have 10-way settings to maximize comfort. The dashboard is slanted more towards the driver, giving it the feel of the old BMWs that had the driver in mind. The dash also features a 10.2″ LCD screen for the i-Drive unit.
The new 550i will feature the same twin-turbo V-8 found in the X6, 7 Series, and 5 Series GT with 404 bhp and a mind-boggling 61.2 kgm of peak torque. The 535i has a twin-turbo straight six which produces 304 bhp. An all new 8 speed automatic transmission, which enhances drivability and efficiency, is also being offered.
