Porsche Panamera to Spawn a Convertible?

The Porsche Panamera is already available in the US in three variants — the S, 4S, and Turbo — and it looks as if a fourth might be added to the lineup.
According to Automotive News the car manufacturer is looking to introduce a 2-door convertible version of the Panamera.
“We have a broad range of 14 derivatives of the 911 that are very successful,” said Porsche development chief Wolfgang Duerheimer. “So it stands to reason we should diversify the lineup for the Panamera as well.”
The convertible would still seat 4 passengers and would likely carry a $16,000 premium over the sedan.
