2010 Porsche 911 Turbo Engine Stats
For 2010, the Porsche 911 Turbo gets an all-new, larger 3.8-liter engine.
As for that engine, it’s the first entirely new one in the Turbo’s 35-year history. Porsche’s variable turbine geometry turbos are back, and the new engine also gets direct-injection for the first time, resulting in an output of 500hp.
Porsche says the new Turbo will be capable of a 0-60 mph sprint in just 3.4 seconds and can blast on to a top speed of 194 mph.
The new engine is also significantly more fuel-efficient than the previous Turbo, consuming just 24.1 mpg with the manual transmission.
