Think you have a nice garage? Think again!
Imagine building an extra story in your house just for your car?
Well, that’s exactly what Holger Schubert did.
The 1200 sq-ft garage has a TV, book-shelf, storage room, small kitchen, bathroom, and a library – all complete with a stunning view of western L.A.
Mr. Schubert’s design won the “existing” catagory in the Maserati “Design Driven” contest, which awards garages that include a “noted architectural element, uniqueness and individuality, while providing a complementary environment for a Maserati car.” Winning the “existing” category means Schubert built his garage before Maserati started the contest.
That’s one garage we wouldn’t mind living in… : )
